Alicia Keys Statement Regarding Blender Magazine

Alicia Keys Statement Regarding Blender Magazine

Fresh House of York, Apr 15 -- Alicia Keys has released the
following statement regarding her recent question with Liquidizer Cartridge:

"I experience it is necessary to clarify the comments that were made during
my recent epoch Liquidizer magazine publisher interview since they feature been misrepresented.

Anyone world Health Organization knows me and my graphic symbol, knows that I am not a confederacy
theorizer or, by implication, a racialist. My comments around 'gangsta rap' were
in no way trying to evoke that the government is responsible for creating
this genre of whack music. The point that I was trying to make was that the
term was over-sloganized by or so of the media causing reactions that were
non always positive degree. Many of the 'gangsta rap' lyrics articulate the
problems of the artists' experiences and I recall totally of us, including our
leadership, could be doing to a greater extent to turn to these problems including drugs,
mob wildness, crime, and other related social issues.

Additionally, regarding the AK-47 consultation, AK-47 is a nickname given
to me by just about of my friends in jocularity, as an acronym for Alicia Keys and a
metaphor for wowing people with my medicine and performances, "cleanup 'em
dead" on stagecoach. The point of reference was in no way meant to have a typo,
political or negative connotation.

The recent implications about me ar also radical and overly dramatic a
going from whom I experience continually demonstrated myself to be. I make for so
hard and throw so often of myself to bring about positive change to this
globe, and I only wish those efforts received as lots press and attending
as the misinterpretations of the Liquidizer article."
